The Billionaire’s Daughter Drove Every Maid Away — Until One Woman Refused to Be Afraid of Her
Chapter 12
The foundation focused on supporting workers’ children.
Scholarships.
Emergency housing.
Education.
Job training.
Isabella wanted the foundation to carry her mother’s name.
Clara agreed.
Together, they created a program that helped domestic workers pursue education for their children.
The first scholarship went to Clara’s niece.
The second went to the daughter of one of the mansion’s gardeners.
The third went to a young woman whose mother had cleaned offices for twenty years.
At the opening ceremony, Isabella stood beside Clara.
“This program exists because someone taught me that people don’t need to be feared.”
“They need to be seen.”
The crowd applauded.
Afterward, a reporter asked Isabella:
“Who taught you that?”
Isabella smiled.
“My mother started it.”
She looked at Clara.
“And she finished it.”
The reporter looked confused.
Clara smiled.
“That’s enough.”
Later, Isabella and Clara sat alone.
“Do you miss your mother?”
“Every day.”
“What do you think she’d say now?”
Isabella smiled.
“She’d probably complain about my hair.”
Clara laughed.
“Definitely.”
They looked toward the foundation building.
Everything had changed.
Not because Isabella inherited money.
Because she finally understood how to use it.
