Billionaire Ordered in a Foreign Language to Humiliate the Waitress — Her Reply Left Him Speechless

Chapter 7

Victor Hale didn’t hide because he didn’t need to.

He had spent decades becoming invisible.

His companies had different names.

His properties belonged to trusts.

His accounts were spread across jurisdictions.

But his influence remained.

And someone inside Adrian’s organization was feeding him information.

The betrayal became obvious when Adrian received a message containing details only three people knew.

He called Thomas.

“There’s a leak.”

Thomas nodded.

“I expected that.”

“Who?”

“We don’t know.”

Adrian looked at Amelia.

“We’re running out of time.”

They decided to move Amelia again.

But before they could leave, the power went out.

The house fell into darkness.

Then came a sound.

Glass breaking.

Adrian pulled Amelia behind him.

His security team moved through the hallway.

A single shot echoed outside.

Then silence.

Minutes later, they found a package on the front porch.

Inside was a child’s drawing.

A little girl.

A woman.

And a man.

Above the woman was one word.

Mother.

Amelia stared at it.

“My mother drew this.”

“How do you know?”

“She always drew three stars in the corner.”

There were three stars.

Adrian felt something tighten in his chest.

“She made this for you.”

“No.”

Amelia pointed at the date.

Twenty years ago.

The girl in the drawing was already born.

The man was labeled:

Father.

But the face had been scratched out.

Someone had wanted Amelia to know the father existed.

But not who he was.

Thomas found a hidden message beneath the paper.

COME ALONE.

Adrian refused.

Then another message arrived.

OR SHE DIES WITHOUT EVER KNOWING WHERE HER MOTHER IS.

Amelia looked at Adrian.

“I’ll go.”

“No.”

“She wants me.”

“We don’t know that.”

“She knows something.”

Adrian stared at her.

“You’re my daughter.”

The words came out before he could stop them.

Amelia froze.

He had never said it before.

Adrian’s eyes filled.

“I don’t know how to be your father.”

She looked away.

“But I know I don’t want to lose you.”

For a moment, neither moved.

Then Amelia stepped closer.

“Then don’t.”

They went together.

The location was an abandoned train station.

No one was there.

Except an old woman sitting on a bench.

Amelia stopped.

The woman looked up.

Her eyes widened.

She stood slowly.

“Amelia?”

Amelia couldn’t breathe.

She knew that voice.

She had heard it in childhood recordings.

Her mother’s voice.

“Mom?”

The woman covered her mouth.

Tears rolled down her cheeks.

Amelia ran.

They collided in the middle of the station.

For several seconds, neither could speak.

Adrian stood frozen.

Claire looked at him.

Twenty-three years disappeared.

“Adrian.”

He couldn’t move.

“Claire…”

She smiled through tears.

Then her expression changed.

“Where is Victor?”

Adrian shook his head.

“We thought he was gone.”

Claire looked terrified.

“No.”

She grabbed Amelia’s hand.

“He’s not gone.”

She looked directly at Adrian.

“He never was.”
