Billionaire Ordered in a Foreign Language to Humiliate the Waitress — Her Reply Left Him Speechless
Chapter 10
The baby had been born two years after Amelia.
A boy.
Claire had been imprisoned when she gave birth.
Victor took him.
She had never seen him again.
Adrian struggled to process it.
“You never told me.”
“I didn’t know if he survived.”
“What’s his name?”
Claire closed her eyes.
“Ethan.”
Amelia began crying.
“I have a brother?”
Claire nodded.
“We have spent years trying to find him.”
Victor knew where he was.
That meant he had been holding the final piece of leverage.
Adrian demanded answers from investigators.
Within hours, they found an old adoption record.
Ethan Morgan.
Adopted by a wealthy couple in another state.
But the adoption was sealed.
A name appeared in the financial trail.
Victor Hale.
Adrian’s jaw tightened.
“He placed the boy with someone.”
Thomas nodded.
“Probably to use him later.”
Amelia wiped her eyes.
“Where is he now?”
They discovered the boy had grown into a young man.
Twenty-six.
His adoptive parents had died years earlier.
He now lived alone.
And he had no idea who his biological family was.
Adrian contacted him.
The meeting took place in a quiet café.
A young man walked in.
He had Claire’s eyes.
Adrian knew immediately.
Ethan looked at him.
“Mr. Blackwood?”
Adrian nodded.
“I think we may be related.”
Ethan laughed nervously.
“What does that mean?”
Amelia stood.
“We’re your sisters.”
Ethan stared.
“I’m sorry?”
Claire stepped forward.
“I’m your mother.”
His smile disappeared.
He looked at her.
“No.”
“I know this is impossible.”
“My mother died.”
“She wasn’t your biological mother.”
Ethan stepped backward.
Adrian approached.
“Your name was Ethan Morgan.”
The young man’s face changed.
“How do you know that?”
“Because I am your father.”
Silence.
Ethan stared at him.
Then he laughed.
It wasn’t amusement.
It was disbelief.
“You expect me to believe this?”
“No.”
Adrian swallowed.
“I expect you to take your time.”
Ethan looked at Claire.
She was crying.
He didn’t hug her.
Not yet.
He simply sat down.
For an hour, they told him everything.
When they finished, Ethan asked one question.
“Why didn’t you find me?”
Claire answered honestly.
“Because I didn’t know where you were.”
“Why didn’t my father find me?”
Adrian looked at the table.
“Because I didn’t know you existed.”
Ethan nodded slowly.
Then his phone buzzed.
A message.
Everyone froze.
Ethan looked at the screen.
They found you because you were always meant to be found.
Then another message.
Come to the old Blackwood warehouse tonight. Alone.
Ethan looked up.
“Who is this?”
Adrian took the phone.
His expression changed.
The message had been sent from Victor Hale.
