Ethan confronted Victoria.
“You framed Olivia.”
Victoria didn’t deny it.
“I protected you.”

“And my son?”

Victoria sighed.
“Olivia wasn’t right for this family.”
Ethan stared at her.
“You threatened her.”
“I warned her.”
“You threatened her family.”
“Because she refused to leave.”
He looked disgusted.
“How could you?”
Victoria’s voice softened.
“One day you’ll understand.”
“No.”
He shook his head.

She stood.
“If you expose me, the board will fracture.”
“Then let it.”

Ethan looked at her.

He walked out.

“She did it.”
