The next morning, Ethan arrived at the workshop early.
Walter was standing outside.
He looked at Ethan.
“You look happy.”
Ethan stopped.
“Do I?”
“Yeah.”
“Why?”
Walter shrugged.
“Don’t know.”
Ethan smiled.
“Maybe I slept well.”

They opened the workshop.
The smell of oil and metal filled the room.

Walter handed Ethan a toolbox.
“Boat.”

“Engine.”
“Again?”

Walter looked at him.
