“I don’t want this position because of my father.”
She looked around.

No one laughed.
Elias stood beside her.

The company approved it.

“You didn’t have to defend me.”
“I know.”
“Then why did you?”
He smiled.
“Because you were right.”

“I hope so.”
They walked toward the harbor.
