“You looked terrified.”
“I was.”
“Why?”
“You were intimidating.”
She laughed.
“Still am.”
He smiled.
Then they sat quietly.
Passengers passed.
Families hurried.

Liam reached for her hand.
“I would do it all again.”
“Even the staring?”
“Especially that.”
She laughed.
“You’re impossible.”
“That’s why you married me.”
She leaned against him.
“I married you because you saw me.”
He looked at her.

“Exactly.”
He smiled.

The airport was noisy.
