The boy looked up.
“Dad?”

“This is Victoria.”

“Your son?”
He nodded.
“Noah.”
Victoria smiled weakly.
“He’s adorable.”
Noah smiled.
“Thank you.”

“I didn’t know if you’d want to see me.”

“Then why?”
He looked toward his son.
“Because I found out the truth.”

“About what?”
“Everything.”

Ethan reached into his jacket and pulled out the old letter.
He handed it to her.

“Dad?”

“She looks nice.”
