She Whispered That She Only Wanted Someone to Choose Her — The Millionaire Heard Every Word
Chapter 9
Their wedding was small.
No magazine cover.
No celebrity guests.
No massive ceremony.
Just family.
Friends.
The foundation team.
A few employees.
Olivia wore her mother’s bracelet.
Daniel wore his father’s watch.
Before the ceremony, he handed her a note.
She opened it.
I chose you before I knew how much choosing you would change me.
She cried.
During her vows, she said:
“I spent my whole life believing love was something someone else gave me.”
She looked at Daniel.
“Then you taught me that love isn’t a prize.”
“It’s a partnership.”
“It’s a choice.”
She smiled.
“And I choose you.”
Daniel’s voice shook.
“I heard you whisper that you wished someone would choose you.”
“I’ve carried those words ever since.”
“Not because they made me responsible for your happiness.”
“But because they showed me how much courage you had.”
He took her hands.
“You were never waiting for someone to make you valuable.”
“You were waiting for someone to recognize what was already there.”
They married.
Afterward, they danced.
Olivia looked at him.
“I wish I could tell my younger self what happens.”
“Would she believe you?”
“No.”
He laughed.
“Then don’t.”
“What should I tell her?”
“Tell her to keep going.”
She smiled.
“Good answer.”
